In an email to fans plugging his new evidence, Horace and Pete, comedian Louis C.K. unloaded on the Republican frontrunner in an uncharacteristically searing and political postscript.

"The guy is Hitler. And by that I mean that nosotros are beingness Germany in the 30s. Do you think they saw the shit coming?" Louis C.Yard. writes of Donald Trump. "Hitler was but some hilarious and refreshing dude with a weird comb over who would say anything at all."

But information technology tries, at length, to empathize with Trump's supporters, who C.K. arguesrun into all the presidential candidates as "bullshit soft criminal opportunists."

"Voting for Trump is a way of saying 'fuck information technology. Fuck them all'. I really go it," Louis C.K. writes. "The whole game feels rigged and it'south non going anywhere simply down anymore. I feel that style sometimes."

Louis C.K. even expresses sympathy for Trump himself — in the same breath as he compares Trump to Hitler. It'due south a message that feels particularly powerful because information technology casts Trump not just equally a fearful menace, but as a victim of his own emptiness.

And I'g not advocating for Hillary or Bernie. I like them both but frankly I wish the adjacent president was a conservative simply because we had Obama for eight years and nosotros need residue. And not considering I particularly savour the conservative calendar. I only remember the government should reverberate the people. And nosotros are most 40 percent bourgeois and 40 percentage liberal. When I was growing up and when I was a younger man, liberals and conservatives were friends with differences. Exercise you actually want a guy to be president who threatens John McCain? Because John McCain cautiously and intelligently asked for people to be thoughtful before voting for him? He didn't even insult Trump. He just asked you to take a good await. And Trump told him to look out.

Remember that Trump entered this race by saying that McCain is not a state of war hero. A guy who was shot down, body broken and kept in a Pw camp for years. Trump said "I prefer the guys who don't get defenseless." Why did he say that? Not because he meant it or because it was important to say. Trump is a messed up guy with a hole in his middle that he tries to fill up with money and attention. He tin can never ever have enough of either and he'll never stop trying. He's ill. Which makes him really actually interesting. And he pulls yous towards him which somehow feels adept or fascinatingly bad. He's not a monster. He's a sad man.
